This
hands-on course will practically deal with new adhesive tooth
preparation
designs and the latest layering and finishing techniques
for
directly bonded compositerestorationsnecessary to achieve
predictableand
estheticresults in the daily practice.
The
course is divided in 2 parts @2,5 jam:
Part 1:
Every
participant will prepare a large class II molar defect and subsequently build
up the defect to its natural anatomic shape using the latest bulk fill
composite..All the necessary steps from bonding to restoring to polishing will
be discussed in detail to achieve natural & functional restorations
including a perfect contact point. Tips and tricksto avoid post-operative
sensitivity will be discussed and shown in detail.
Part 2:
Re-building
invisible anterior esthetics:
Every
participant will perform a polychromatically
layered, highly
esthetic
anterior restoration starting from an extended class IV defect.
The
esthetic tooth preparation design will allow us to hide the transition between
the composite and the tooth. Special attention will be given to a multi-layered
and multi-coloredesthetic build-up technique using different translucencies
& shades.
The ultimate
goal is to achieve a highly esthetic and invisible restoration.
At
the end of the course, participants can take home their own masterpieces.
